The pencil
The ever-informative, often surprising CBS Sunday Morning show this weekend paid homage to the #2 pencil. The segment began with David Rees, author of HOW TO SHARPEN PENCILS with footage of him at work on this arcane (to some of us) art form. For more, visit here. Once again, I realize I have been doing IT all wrong.
Should you still have questions, Pencil Revolution can likely answer them all.

Susan - I could have guessed: can't roll off a desk or drafting table, fit well in the hand, lend one an air of capability. xo
Long live Pencils!
I loved this guy.
Thanks for the reminder, it was a great segment.
My "can't live without" art supply is guess what?
Yup, that mechanical pencil with the really thick lead.
Lisa - I would like to know about the mechanical pencil with the really thick lead. In another life when I took inventory of men's socks in department stores, I used a mechanical pencil, reliable point and all that. I know it is a valuable tool for sketchers. Coolest pencil geek guy. xo
