Love love love this record and these old songs, much as I love the later Tom Waits--this is the one I first fell in love with when I was a wee lass--and all the men I've ever met have been measured thus!! xo
Melissa - And good thing they don't know (we hope) they are being measured thus. Could he be any funnier or more youthfully charming? I love this too. xo

again of dangerous
and noble things.
I want to be light

i want to be improbable
beautiful and
afraid of nothing
