Two posts wait in draft...such plans I had for Sunday. In the gentlest of spring showers, at 7:34 a.m., neighborhood power transformers exploded and electricity has just been restored...telephone updates told of workers being summoned, restoration times ranged from 10 p.m. to unknown. I have passed the point of writing anything today that would be worth reading. And it has been weeks, I know, since I visited, let alone commented upon many of your blogs. A new week looms, a fresh start.
Peace.

I was beginning to wonder...the internet has been a little temperamental lately.
Glad to hear power has been restored.
In addition to what happened in your neighborhood...Blogger was down from May 11th to the 13th. I lost comments to posts, but luckily, both of the posts I published, came back. Frightening to think what would have happened had they not come back...
I always compose on my blog, but maybe I should reconsider and write and save to my computer first...
I agree. Fresh starts... (((hugs)))
Glad you're back with us!
Antares Cryptos - There were two days when I couldn't get to the Dashboard, then at least one comment I know of is still missing...and who knows what else. I suppose we are all thinking about backing up our posts. Yay, electricity. :D
Donna - It was a muddle, wasn't it? Telling us how much some previously unimagined constants have come to matter. I compose on my blog, too. Was it a wake-up call? So, hello, Monday. Let's get typing. xoxo
T. - Good Monday morning and thank you. A week of Blogger shenanigans and a non-ordinary schedule...I become easily askew. xo
Marylinn- Good to see you back here! All the snafus are reminders that technology hasn't yet been perfected, and always better to start low tech. Word doc, or maybe pen and paper?!
I save everything in a word doc. but I don't always start with it. I'm going to make of habit of it now. ;)
Yes, lesson learned on backing up. I've been putting that off, any tips?
I actually write my posts with pen in journals, very retro, I know. Lost comments and links though.
WV: "repent". I'm sure the connection will reveal itself:)
P.S. Hope Blogger eventually gives us an editing published comments feature.
As an advocate for pen and paper, no electricity required.
Jayne - Before ALL this, I'd been thinking I need to store various things on flash drives - new to me, old school that I am. And figure out where to start...and then save. But if we want to save the comments, which I would...Need to develop some new habits. :D
Antares Cryptos - A fine theory, for me, but I tend to sit down and see what or who shows up. I may make notes but haven't yet done the longhand writing...saves not only electricity but you have an original draft.
Repent. Hmmmm. Apropos of almost nothing, one each of the Pilot pens you recommended arrived today...they are quite fine, I look forward to drawing with the liquid ink. Thank you. :D
They may not be original drafts that I intend to keep;)
As to the pens, glad. Let me know what you think. They always make it into my field sketch kit.
Antares Cryptos - No, not all original drafts are keepers, are they? And I'll report on actual pen use when I have some experience with them. So far, so good.
